So, It's Been a While

Just reading over these posts and looking at the pics. Man, time flies! We are so blessed to have such healthy, happy and beautiful kids! Nolan is now 3 1/2 and Reeves 1 1/2. Wow. They are going to cause a lot of trouble together! Life is great. Every day is a blessing and we cannot thank the Lord enough for all we have. Surely no one is still reading this so I won't waste too much of my time writing something for myself. Love to all and God bless!

Welcome Reeves!

Reeves Baisey Hammond is here!! Reeves was born at 5:40 pm on Wednesday, January 20. Mama and baby are doing wonderful! We are enjoying our second day at home with big brother and baby. Nolan is taking the addition just fine. He likes to show off "Baby Eeves" to visitors and always gives him a kiss before nap time and bed time. Mama and Dada are tired...especially Mama! She is doing an amazing job of taking care of Reeves. We are truly blessed to have such a beautiful, healthy family and a house FULL of love!!

Love to all!

Beach Bums!

We are enjoying our first vacation at the beach this year. We have been here for four days and only have two and a half days left. It has been a blast!! We weren't real sure how Nolan was going to like it out in the sand and sun. Well, two big thumbs up! He is having a ball. We've spent several hours every day on the beach and Nolan cannot seem to get enough. He is in his own little world enjoying the world's largest playground. Nicole and I have enjoyed ourselves simply watching him. More treasured memories being made every day!!

Love to all!

Happy Birthday!

Nolan turned one March 20th. Now, a month later, we'll post some pics for you! The birthday party was great. Thank you to everyone for making it so memorable. Nolan told us that night that he had a great time but wishes he could have spent a little more time with everyone!

Time is precious. You cannot get it back so all the time spent doing whatever it is you might be doing, enjoy it!

The last 13 months with the love of our lives has flown by. You just can't blink or you will miss something. Nolan is still not walking but that is OK because we know when he starts, we're gonna be chasing him everywhere! He is talking and playing and smiling. We thank God every day for blessing us with such a happy, healthy boy!

Thanks to everyone for all of the love you have given through the first year of Nolan's life!

Love to all!!

Three years and almost one!

Nicole and I just celebrated our third anniversary February 25. We spent the weekend in Charleston with Tina and Parker. It was wonderful! Ate great food all weekend. Our anniversary dinner at SNOB was definitely the highlight. That was our first night out alone in a LONG time and the dinner was one of the best either of us have ever had.

Right now, we are watching the third snow of the year. Nolan is going to have fun in this tomorrow! Nicole and I both love the snow and judging from the smile on his face in the earlier snows, Nolan will be no different. We can't wait until we can take him skiing! Actually, we can wait. It seems that he is growing up way too fast. He turns one year old this month! You are always thinking that the next phase is so far away and before you know, it's gone.

Nolan is getting around with no problem these days. We think he'll be walking before long. He is always talking. Hi and dogs are the two words he loves the most. (Mama and Dada get sprinkled in too) Nolan loves balls. Big balls, little balls, footballs, baseballs...basically any balls. He wakes up and says dogs and then puts his hands together, his symbol for ball. He has picked up some habits from his dogs too. A lot of the time he just carries the balls around in his teeth!! The dogs and Nolan keep each other, and us, entertained.

The last three years have been the best of our lives and with this amazing boy we have, we know it has only just begun!!

Love to all!

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas to all! We are very excited about Nolan's first Christmas. There is no better gift than the miracle of a child and we are cherishing the moment. Nolan is doing great!! He is almost nine months old yet we feel like he has been a part of our family forever. It is amazing how he has grown. Not a day goes by when we don't thank God for giving us such a wonderful boy to love and spend our days with.

We wish you and yours the best through this Holiday season. May God bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and give you peace!
